Charles Pia: One Goal at a Time

In 1994, the North Carolina Tar Heels women’s soccer team wraped up its ninth consecutive NCAA title with a 5-0 blanking of Notre Dame. Senior midfielder Tisha Venturini, a three-time All-America, scored two goals as she and nine others in her class left the school with a 97-1-1 record over four years. It was the Tar Heels 12th championship in the previous 13 years.
