AAUW
For more than a century, AAUW – the American Association of University Women – has been the nation’s leading voice promoting education and equity for women and girls.

AVCA
The mission of the American Volleyball Coaches Association is to advance the development of the sport of volleyball by providing all coaches with educational programs, a forum for opinion exchange and recognition opportunities.

IWLCA
The IWLCA - Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association - is a non-profit corporation comprised of Division I, II, and III coaches from across the United States. The IWLCA is dedicated to promoting the game of lacrosse and to the education of lacrosse coaches.

NACWAA
The National Association of Collegiate Women Athletic Administrators (NACWAA) is a membership organization dedicated to providing educational materials, professional and personal development opportunities, information exchange, and support services to enhance college athletics and to promote the growth, leadership and success of women as athletic administrators, professional staff, coaches and student-athletes.

NAGWS
The National Association for Girls & Women in Sport's mission is to develop and deliver equitable and quality sport opportunities for ALL girls and women through relevant research, advocacy, leadership development, educational strategies, and programming in a manner that promotes social justice and change.

WBCA
The Women's Basketball Coaches Association promotes women's basketball by unifying coaches at all levels to develop a reputable identity for the sport of women's basketball and to foster and promote the development of the game of basketball as an amateur sport for women and girls.

WISE
Women Involved in Sports Evolution's mission is to provide training programs designed to propel individuals to their personal level of physical and/or athletic excellence.

In 1998, April Heinrichs became the first woman player ever inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
